Víctor González Castro

Víctor González received the B.S degree in Computer Science from the University of León (Spain) in 2006 and a PhD in Computer Science from the same University in 2011. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint-Étienne (France) between May 2013 and October 2014. After that, he moved to Edinburgh, where he worked as a Lecturer in Medical Image Analysis at the Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences of the University of Edinburgh until January 2017. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical, Systems and Automation Engineering of the University of Leon.

Research interest: Machine Learning: pattern recognition, natural language processing, Deep Learning, Computer Vision.
